Minneopa State Park
You must make a reservation at Ragland Bottom Campground two days in advance for family sites and four days in advance for group sites. Minimum stays are sometimes required. The 6,000acre park contains a lot of woodlands, and the hilly areas around the lake make for waterfalls and dramatic scenery.

The lake is known for fishing, especially striped bass and a variety of other fish. Panther Creek State Park is on the edge of the lake and provides a boat ramp and other recreational activities, including nature trails. The dam has a day use area and a campground. Campgrounds surround the lake, and there are many trails around the lake.
